How Forms Work
The lead form workflow follows these steps:
- Customer enters their email address in the form
- Form submits and triggers a custom event with the email data
- Shoble extracts the domain from the email address
- Organization is identified or created based on the email domain
- Event is associated with the organization and contributes to the engagement score
- Lead is created or updated with the latest form submission data

Adding Forms to Your Store
Lead forms are available as Shopify theme app extensions. You can add them to your store through the theme editor using the Shoble app block.
Steps to Add a Form:
- Open your Shopify theme editor
- Navigate to the page where you want to add the form
- Click "Add block" or "Add section"
- Find "Shoble Lead Form" in the app blocks
- Configure the form settings (headline, description, event type)
- Save and publish your changes
Form Customization
Each form can be customized with the following options:
- Headline: Custom title displayed above the form
- Description: Supporting text to encourage submissions
- Placeholder: Custom placeholder text for the email input
- Event Type: Choose which custom event to trigger
- Product Association: Link form to specific product variants (product forms only)
- Styling: Adjust colors, fonts, spacing, and alignment to match your theme
Product-Specific Forms
Product lead forms can be associated with specific product variants, allowing you to track which products generate the most B2B interest. When a visitor submits a product-specific form, the product variant ID is captured and displayed in the lead details.
Shopify Flow Integration
Lead form submissions can trigger Shopify Flow workflows, enabling automated responses such as:
- Sending email notifications to your sales team
- Creating tasks in your CRM or project management tool
- Adding contacts to email marketing lists
- Triggering custom automation workflows
