How does Shoble identify B2B visitors?
Shoble uses IP intelligence to identify business visitors. We cross-reference visitor data with business databases to attribute events to specific organizations.
Does Shoble track individual consumers?
Shoble tracks all visitor events on your store but focuses on surfacing B2B opportunities. Consumer visitors are tracked for event data, but the lead generation process prioritizes identifying and highlighting organizations showing business interest in your products.
Is Shoble GDPR compliant?
Yes. Shoble focuses on business data rather than personal consumer data. All data processing follows GDPR guidelines, and we provide data export and deletion tools for compliance requests.
How accurate is organization detection?
Organization detection accuracy varies by traffic source. Business networks with static IPs typically provide more reliable organization identification. Visitors on dynamic IPs, VPNs, or residential connections may be harder to accurately attribute to an organization.
Can I customize which events are tracked?
Shoble tracks all standard Shopify customer events automatically. While you cannot disable specific event types from being tracked, you can customize event scores in Settings to control how much each event type contributes to lead ranking and engagement scores.
How does event scoring work?
Each event type is assigned a score based on how strongly it indicates purchase intent. These scores are summed to create an engagement score for each lead. You can customize score values in Settings to match your business priorities.
How quickly do events appear in the dashboard?
Events typically appear within 1-2 minutes of occurring on your store. During high traffic periods, there may be a slight additional delay.
Does Shoble affect my store's performance?
No. Shoble uses Shopify's built-in customer event tracking, which runs asynchronously and doesn't impact page load times or store performance.
Can I use Shoble on multiple stores?
Yes. You can install Shoble on multiple Shopify stores. Each store requires its own installation.
